Dota 2 Bali Major: Western Europe Dominates, Final day of Bali Major
The Dota 2 Bali Major has reached the final day. The final 3 teams remain to secure the title of Bali Major all these teams are from the Western Europe region not only that, the 4th place team, Quest Esports is also from Western Europe.
In this Dota 2 Major 4 Western European teams participated and all four of them secured a top 4 finish. This has been a story for all the tier 1 events this year. This raised a question about increasing the slots for WEU teams in the International 12 and has a bit of controversy around it. On the other hand, the hosting region SEA had a rough showing, as none of their teams moved past the group stage which was disappointing for the fans.
Bali Major Dota 2 Playoffs Results
On the second last day of the Bali Major, Gaimin Gladiators beat Tundra Esports in the upper bracket finals to reach the grand finals of the Major.
In the lower bracket quarterfinals, Team Liquid beat 9 Pandas and Quest beat PSG.LGD to secure a spot in the lower bracket semi-final which was played on the same day. Team Liquid beat Quest Esports to move onto the lower bracket finals which will be played on the final day.
Bali Major Final Day Schedule
The final day of Bali Major will be played on Sunday, July 9th and will have two series - lower bracket finals and the Grand finals.

Gaimin Gladiator now has a chance to win their third major in a row and become the first team to do so, this will also be their 5th consecutive tier 1 event victory.
