EG wins Valorant Champions 2023, beats PRX in grand final

Evil Geniuses are the 2023 Valorant World Champions as they won the final of Valorant Champions against Paper Rex. EG with this victory won 1 million USD prize money. Paper Rex with the runner up position won $400k USD.

EG vs PRX: Valorant Champions Grand Final Results

In the grand final of Valorant Champions, Paper Rex and EG faced each other in a best of 5 series. This was a rematch of upper bracket final which Prx won 2-1.

The first map of the grand final was Split, EG took this vlose map 13-10 to gain a 1-0 lead. Paper Rex then tied up the series 1-1 after winning Ascent 13-11.

EG dominated third map Bind as they won 13-5 to gain the match point. EG converted this chance to win the series, they took Pearl 13-10 to win the grand finals 3-1.

EG won their first ever international event in Valorant and made an insane comeback in the Valorant esports scene. From a tier 2 team in the start of 2023 season to the World Champions of Valorant was a historic run for the organisation as well as players.
