ESL One Stockholm Dota2 Major Group Stage final Result, playoffs

ESL One Stockholm DOTA Major 2022 started on May 12th and after 3 days of top tier Dota 2 games, the group stages are finished. 14 teams participated in the ESL One Stockholm Major, in the group stages two of them got eliminated. Evil Geniuses and Mind Games (DNP) were the teams to be eliminated from group stages.

ESL One Stockholm Dota Major Group Stage Results

The teams got divided into 2 groups of 7 teams each. The top 6 teams from each group moved onwards to the playoffs, top 4 seeds are placed in upper bracket whereas the 5th adn 6th seeds will begin the playoffs in lower bracket. The playoffs will start on May 16th and will be double-elimination bracket.

From the group stages, Evil geniuses were the only team that got eliminated which is a very bad performance considering they were the number 1 seed from North America. Second team that didn't made it to the playoffs are Mind Games who were not able to attend the Major due to visa issues.

ESL One Stockholm Dota Major playoffs

After the first three day of the ESL One Stockholm Major, top 6 teams from both groups moved on to the playoffs. Eight teams, four from each group are in upper bracket where as the remaining four teams are in lower bracket according to their seeds. The upper bracket will start on May 16th and the lower brackets will begin on May 17th. playoffs will be double elimination bracket, except for the teams who are already in lower bracket.
