ESL Pro League 19 Playoffs are starting May 7th
The 19th season of ESL Pro League for Counter-Strike has reached its playoffs stage which will be starting on May 7th. The EPL 198 started with 32 teams teams in the group stage and now the final 16 teams remain for the chance to win $170,000 and a direct qualification to IEM Cologne 2024.
EPL 19 has an overall prizepool of $750,000 which will be divided among all 32 teams, whereas only the top 8 teams will accumulate Blast Premier points. This is the first ESL Pro League for Counter Strike 2 and is hosted in St. Julian's, Malta like every season.
ESL Pro League 19 Playoffs Schedule
The playoffs of EPL Season 19 will start on May 7th and the Grand Finals will be played on May 12th. The first phase of the playoffs will be Round of 16.

The winners of these series will face 3DMAX, The MongolZ, Team Liquid and Navi respectively in the Round of 12 whereas the losing teams will be eliminated from the EPL 19.
Upsets so far in EPL 19-
The season 19 of the ESL Pro League had some upsets during the group stage. Teams like ENCE, Heroic, Eternal Fire and Team Falcons failed to qualify for the playoffs. The underdogs that reached the Round of 12 of playoffs are 3DMAX and The Mongolz and can upset some of the favorites of this tournament.
