G2 and Heroic moves to semi-final of PGL Major Stockholm

PGL Major playoffs and Champions stage started on November 4th and had 2 quarterfinals series on the first day of playoffs. G2 and Heroic won their respective series and qualified for semi-finals of Major, VP and NiP got eliminated.

Heroic and G2 qualified to PGL MAJOR semifinals

The new Champions stage was the opening day of games in AVICCI arena in Stockholm. PGL Major was the first major in around 800 days and also the first CS:GO event with live audience and crowd after the global pandemic.

In opening game of playoffs Heroic faced Virtus.Pro in first quarterfinal. Heroic defeat VP in a close BO3 series 2-1 ( Mirage 16-10, Ancient 13-16, Inferno 16-12). Heroic will now face G2 esports in semi-finals.

G2 played NiP in second quarterfinal, G2 won the series 2-0 without any difficulties (Inferno 16-11, Mirage 16-11). G2 will now face Heroic in semi-finals.

On the second day of playoffs and Champions stage there will be final 2 quarterfinals game. Gambit will face Furia in first series and Navi will face Vitality in second series of the day.
