Gambit moves to semi-final, defeat Vision Strikers in quarterfinals of VCT Masters Berlin

CIS Valorant roster Gambit defeat Korean powerhouse Vision Strikers 2-1 in first quarterfinals of VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin. Gambit will now be playing their regional rival G2 esports in semi-finals tomorrow.

As the Gambit and G2 will face each other in semi-final, EMEA will have a at least one team in grand final of Masters Berlin. Gambit also have qualified for VCT 2021 Champions as they have secured a top 2 finish in EMEA circuit point standings.

Gambit vs Vision Strikers result quarterfinals VCT Masters-

Gambit were one of the tournament favourites and the number #1 seed from EMEA, they faced Korean #1 seed Vision Strikers who were looking unstoppable in tournament so far.

Gambit dominated map 1 Bind which was VS pick, Gambit took bind 13-2. Vision Strikers answered back by taking their opponents map pick Split, VS won split 13-7 and tied the series 1-1.

Final and decider map of the series was Icebox and was the map for both teams tournament life. Gambit came out strong and had a strong first half, they lead the first half with a 8-4 score. Gambit took that momentum and convert that lead into a map victory. Gambit won the decider map 13-8 and the series 2-1.

Vision Strikers finished their first ever international event with a 5th-8th place finish and $25,000. Vision Strikers also secured the first place on Korea leader board and are qualified for VCT 2021 Champions.
