Genshin Impact 2.7 new Character banners, events and leaks

Genshin impact version 2.7 release date has finally been announced by Hoyoverse. The new version will be released on May 31st after a one-month delay due to the lockdown in China. The Genshin Impact version 2.7 is called the 'Hidden Dreams in the Depths' and will most likely be a filler patch before the big upcoming Sumeru patch after version 2.8.

Genshin Impact version 2.7 Character Banners and Events

After a very long banner of Ayaka, players will finally be able to pull for new characters. In the first phase of patch 2.7, Yelan and Xiao will get their banner featured. Yelan's signature 5 star bow, Aqua Simulacra will be featured in weapon banner. Possible 4 star characters- Yanfei, Noelle and Barbara.

The second phase of version 2.7 will have a single banner, Arataki Itto will get his first rerun in Genshin Impact 2.7. The new 4 star character, Kuki Shinobu, will also be featured in the second phase. Gorou and Fischl can also get a rerun in second phase of version 2.7.

Genshin Impact new character Yelan

Yelan will be the newest addition to the Genshin Impact character list. She is a hydro bow user and most likely be an off field support and can be an on field dps.

Her elemental skill will be a movement skill and deal damage to enemies came across. Her elemental burst is very similar to that of Xingqiu's. Using her burst she will create a dice and similar to Xinqgiu's rain sword it will follow the active character and initiate a coordinated attack with the normal attack of the active character. This dice will also gradually increase the damage dealt by on-field character. People are getting mixed reactions to her due to her having almost exactly the same burst as that of Xingqiu.

Kuki Shinobu Genshin Impact 2.7

She will be the new 4-star character releasing in version 2.7 of Genshin Impact. She is a electro sword user and is the first electro healer in game. Lore wise, Kuki Shinobu is the part and deputy leader of Arataki Gang and will be feature in the second phase banner with Arataki Itto.

Kuki Shinobu is a healer and off field damage dealer. Her unique skill allow her to sacrifice her own health in combat to heal her party members. She will most likely scale with HP and elemental mastery.

Events and Quests in Genshin Impact 2.7

This version of Genshin Impact will get an interlude Archon quest featuring Yelan, Itto, Xiao, Yanfei and Kuki Shinobu, and will happen in depth's pf Chasm. This Archon quest will not be a permanent part of the game and will be limited to version 2.7. Along with the Archon quest the game will get the story quest for Yelan and a hangout event for Kuki Shinobu.
