Genshin Impact 4.4 Release time, Live Countdown, Character Banner

The Xianyun or Cloud Retainer will finally be released in Genshin Impact version 4.4 along with GaMing on January 31st. The Character banners have been officially revealed by Hoyoverse and have mixed reviews from fans and theory crafters.

Genshin Impact 4.4 release Time and Countdown

The Genshin Impact version 4.4 is releasing on January 31'st. The update will go for maintenance at 6 AM server time (China) and after around five hours the 4.4 updates will be released at 11 AM. Unlike mid-version updates, the version launch update is released in every region at the same time.

Genshin Impact 4.4 Character Banners

The first phase of version 4.4 will have Xianyun and Nahida as featured five-star characters. On their banners, the 4-star characters will be Noelle, Faruzan and GaMing.

This banner is very good for Xiao players as both of his best supports, Xianyun and Faruzan will be on the same banner. But for other players, they are pretty mediocre. GaMing is a very good 4-star DPS who utilizes Xianyun very well. Noelle is out of place in this banner.

The second phase banners will be Yae Miko and Xiao rerun as featured 5-star characters. Yao-Yao, Xinyan and Ninguang will be 4-star characters. This character banner is pretty bad considering the 4-star characters and their synergy with each other.

Genshin Impact 4.4 Weapon Banners

The weapon banners in the first phase will have - Crane's Echoing Call and A Thousand Floating Dreams, Xianyun and Nahida's respective signature weapon. Both of these weapons are very bad other than on their signature character. The 4-star weapons in the first phase will be sacrificial weapons and lithic spears, they are also below-average weapons other than on 1-2 characters.

The second phase weapons banner will have Primordial Jade winged-spear and Kagura's Verity -Xiao's and Yae Miko's signature weapons. The Kagura's Verity is a decent weapon with good stats whereas the Primordial spear is a standard banner weapon therefore this weapon banner is also not worth pulling. As for 4-star weapons it will have Widsith, Stingless, Lions roar, Sacrificial spear and Lithic blade.

The version 4.4 update will be a big one due to Lantern Rite (Chinese New Year). There will be free rewards, new area, Characters, enemies, events, and much more. The version livestream for 4.4 by HoyoVerse revealed all the information about this version update of Genshin Impact.
