Global Esports and Velocity Gaming in upper final of VCC 2022 | India dominates VCC
Indian Valorant scene yet again dominates South Asia and VCC 2022. Global Esports and Velocity Gaming won their semi-finals to move onto upper bracket finals of VCC 2022. Last year's champion Global Esports will be looking to defend their title and represent India in APAC challengers one more time.
After the first day of VCC playoffs only three teams are standing in Valorant Conquerors championship 2022. All three of these teams are from India and two of them will qualify for APAC Challengers. Global Esports will face Velocity gaming in upper bracket final and the winner of that BO3 series will qualify for APAC Challengers. The looser of upper final will face Enigma Gaming in lower bracket faunal for the last spot in APAC Challengers.
VCC 2022 Playoffs results and schedule-
First day of playoffs had three series, in first series Global Esports faced Enigma Gaming in upper bracket round 1. GE won 2-0 comfortably with a score line of Bind 13-6, Haven 13-8. Second series of the day was in between Velocity Gaming and Pakistan's Team Exploit. After getting crushed on the first map Breeze 3-13, team Exploit took the second map Split 13-8 to tie the series 1-1. The final map was close until Velocity Gaming pushed in the final stretch and closed out Icebox 13-8 and won the series 2-1.
After loosing their upper bracket games, Enigma and Exploit faced each other in lower bracket for a final chance to stay in VCC. Enigma won 2-0 (Split 13-9, Bind 13-9) and stayed in the tournament. Enigma now are waiting in lower bracket to face the looser of upper bracket final.
The second day of playoffs action will begin at 17:00 IST with upper bracket finals. Team Exploit finished VCC 2022 with a 4th place finish and $3000 USD.
