IEM Katowice 2024 Results and Schedule | Playoffs Matches and Results

The IEM Katowice Play-in and Group stage has finished. Out of the 24 participating teams, only the final 6 remain to compete for the title of IEM Katowice 2024 and a 1 million USD prize pool. This is the first IEM Katowice of Counter-Strike 2.

IEM Katowice Playoffs Matchups and Schedule

The playoffs of IEM Katowice 2024 will start on February 9th and the grand finals will be played on February 11th. The six remaining teams will compete in a single-elimination playoffs bracket. The top seeds are directly placed in the semi-finals whereas the remaining four teams will play quarterfinals first.

The Quarterfinals will be played on February 9th.

Semi-finals-

The Quarterfinals will be played on February 10th.

• Team Spirit vs ENCE/Falcons

All the series in playoffs will be best of 3 except the grand finals which will be a best of 5 series. The winner of IEM Katowice 2024 will get $400,000 and will also directly qualify for the IEM Cologne 2024, Blast Premier World Finals, and Esports World Cup 2024.

IEM Katowice Play-In and Group Stage Results

Play-In Stage:

In the Play-In stage of IEM Katowice 2024, 16 teams played for a chance to qualify for the group stage as one of the 8 teams.

Qualified Teams -

• Eternal Fire, Team Spirit, Heroic, Gamer Legion - From Upper Bracket

• Cloud9, Apeks, Rebel Gaming, ENCE - From Lower Bracket

The other 8 teams got eliminated from IEM Katowice 2024 with $2,500 or $4,500 prize money. The teams that got eliminated from the play-in stage are: VP, Mongolz, M80, BIG, BetBoom, Astralis, Furia and Rooster.

Group Stage:

The winners of play-in stage joined the 8 Directly qualified teams in the group stage. In the group stage 16 teams were divided into two groups of 8 teams each in a double-elimination bracket.

The winner of each group qualified for the semi-finals in playoffs, whereas the 2nd and 3rd seeds made it to the quarterfinals.
