PGL Arlington Dota 2 Major Results and Schedule: Playoffs and Group Stages

Dota 2 PGL Arlington Major started August 8th with a half million USD prize pool.

17 teams participated in the Dota 2 Arlington Major according to their DPC rankings, for the title of Dota 2 Major.

PGL Arlington Major: Playoffs Results and Schedule

PGL Dota2 Major is reaching its final stages, only three teams are remaining in the Arlington Major to secure the title of Dota2 Major.

PSG.LGD defeat Team Spirit 2-0 in the upper bracket finals. In the lower bracket finals Team Aster defeat OG Esports 2-1.

Team Aster and Team Spirit will face each other in the lower bracket and the winner will then play against PSG.LGD in the grand finals. The lower final and grand finals will be played on same day on Sunday.

PGL Dota 2 Arlington major Playoffs Schedule-

The final day of PGL Dota 2 Arlington Major will have two final back to back games. The first game will be lower bracket final and after that the winner will play in grand finals against PSG.LGD.

• PSG.LGD vs Spirt/Aster: Grand Finals

The lower bracket finals and the Grand Finals will be played on Sunday, August 14th.

These 17 teams were divided into two groups of 9 and 8 team each (Xtreme gaming did not attend). Top 4 teams from each group qualified for playoffs in the upper bracket, 5th-6th place teams were placed in the lower bracket whereas the rest got eliminated.
