PGL Major semi-finals starts today - Preview, results, schedule and more

PGL Stockholm Major semi-finals are starting on November 6th. Navi, Gambit, G2 and Heroic are the final 4 contenders of the Stockholm Major and will fight to win the 1 million grand prize and a direct spot in Blast premier world Finals.

After the first 2 days of playoffs, quarterfinals ended with elimination of 4 more teams form major. VP, Vitality, Furia and NiP finished their PGL major run with a 5th-8th place finish and $70,000 prize money each. The PGL Stockholm Major has a grand prize pool of 2 millions USD,

PGL Major semi-final : G2 vs Heroic preview -

G2 esports will face Heroic in the first semi finals on November 6th at 16:30 CET. G2 will be favourites in this matchup, so far they haven't dropped a single map in the major. They won their quarterfinal series against NiP 2-0 and looked pretty comfortable on big stage.

Heroic beat Virtus.Pro 2-1 in a hard fought quarter final series.

PGL Major semi-final : Navi vs Gambit preview-

World #1 Navi will face Gambit in second semi-final at 20:00 CET in AVICII arena. The rivalry between these 2 teams is not only biggest in CIS but also has become the biggest rivalry on global level. Navi are the tournament favourites and haven't dropped a single map so far. They won 2-0 against Virality in quarterfinals and continued their 17 map win streak on Nuke. This game broke the record for most CSGO viewers and had an around 1.4 million live peak watching.

Gambit won 2-0 against Furia in quarterfinals, this will be a big test for Gambit as they don't have any experience playing on big stage with crowds.
