Team Spirit eliminates Alliance from WePlay AniMajor

Alliance faced Team Spirit in lower bracket elimination game. Team spirit beat alliance 2-1 and send them home.

It was a very disappointed major for Western Europe DPC winner Alliance. They were already in upper bracket of playoffs as they were the number 1 seed from west Europe DPC. In their first series they lost 2-0 to Chinese team PSG.LGD in upper bracket. Now they are eliminated from major empty handed after loosing to team spirit in lower bracket. The good news for Alliance and their fans is that they almost secured direct invite to TI 10 and will not need to play regional qualifiers.

CIS roster Team Spirit was placed in group stages of major and secured their lower bracket spot in playoffs from their. They need to reach grand final of this major to get direct invite for TI 10 or else they will need to win regional qualifiers.
