Valorant generated over $5.5 million with Give Back Bundle for charity
Riot and Valorant announces Valorant Give Back Bundle Charity result, Global players raised more than $5.5 million for the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, in partnership with Impact Assets.
In partnership with Impact Assets, the money raised from the bundle will go toward “positive social impact” in Riot’s “areas of focus,” including education, citizenship, and opportunity, to make the world a better place.
In May, Riot announced that they will be bringing a Give back bundle in Episode 3, in which players will vote for the skins they wish to see in bundle and purchase. They mentioned that the certain part of the revenue they will generate with this bundle will be donated to charity. The Valorant store does not allow players to buy any skin at any time, they have to wait for the skins to pop up in store for them to buy, so this was a pretty excited news for players as they get to buy some of the most popular skins like Reaver Vandal.
Skins in Give Back Bundle-
In June player voted for the skins they wish to see in Bundle, total 4 skins were in the Give back Bundle. The Reaver Sheriff, Ion Operator, VALORANT GO! Vol. 1 Spectre, and Reaver Vandal were featured in the bundle.
Total cost for the bundle was 6,382 VP, with each skin costing 1,755 VP. These prices were around 10% discount from the regular prices.
Riot thanked the players for helping them support a charity and said,
" We can’t thank you enough for supporting the Give Back Bundle by casting your votes and expanding your weapon cache for a good cause. We look forward to partnering with you again to support local non profits with the Riot Games Social Impact Fund and be agents of change in your communities."
